Reservation Odakyu Account
Reserved w/ Odakyu *201* and *014* front car seats, second row both ways. Must purchase or cancel/rereserve by 11/01.
Purchased by Kyoko on 10/31, tickets are being mailed to Lucas. The total including shipping costs was 6670円 or $70.43 paid via PayPal. We'll still need to by the Freepasses once we're there.
Getting around Hakone
Hakone-Yumoto Eki to Yamanochaya (Tounosawa)
Checkin is after 3pm, checkout is 10am. Ryokan directions
- Take Hakone Tozan Train to Tounosawa Eki
- Tonosawa is a small unmanned train station in the mountains. By following the road it is approximately 10 minutes walk to the hotel.
- Shuttle buses leaving from Hakone Yumoto Eki are provided and shared by the local hotels. It takes 5mins to the hotel. Shuttle is $1 per person and run between 13:15 and 17:45. Leaves at 15 and 45 after every hour.
Hakone-Yumoto Eki to Tenzan
- They have a free shuttle bus from Hakone-Yumoto station. 10am-4pm. It's placed a bit strangely, across from the station, on the bridge over the river.
To Gora/Lake Ashi (Togendai)
- Hakone Tozan Train to Gora takes 40 minutes
- Hakone Tozan Cablecar to Sounzan takes 9 minutes
- Hakone Ropeway to Togendai takes 28 minutes
